THE MAGDALENE XIV Stations of the Cross

Mary Magdalene serves as companion and guide along the Way of the Cross as she recalls her memories, feelings, and insights at each station and leads the congregation into reflection and prayer. The Magdalene XIV features local performer Christina Rohling (Omaha Community Playhouse, etc.) portraying Mary Magdalene as a woman of courage, faith and great love who is willing to endure much in order to witness—and bear witness to—Christ’s Way of the Cross. (50 minutes)

XIV FROM THE CROWD Stations of the Cross

Imagine people in the background of images of the Stations coming to life to speak. XIV from the Crowd features fourteen performers portraying members of the crowd following Jesus. At each Station, one crowd member steps out to express his/her thoughts and feelings. Emotions range from bitterness, anger, fear, and despair to yearning, boldness and love. Reflections and prayers follow each monologue, including Psalm verses sung by performing artist Danny Leger. (60 minutes)

THE ST. VINCENT DE PAUL Stations of the Cross

Quotes from St. Vincent de Paul read by a St. Vincent De Paul Reader shed light on the essence of each Station. While keeping the focus on Christ and His Passion, The SVdP XIV meditates upon the Stations guided by St. Vincent de Paul’s wisdom, spirituality, and love for the poor. (50 minutes)

LOVE, MARRIAGE and the Stations of the Cross

Inspired by the work of Omaha Catholic Engaged Encounter, Love, Marriage and the Stations of the Cross connects the sacrifices, beauty, meaning and power of married love to the sacrifices, beauty, meaning and power of Christ’s passion.  (50 minutes)
